Oh, all that jazz!

On Saturday, August 15, more than 5,000 guests gathered at Governor’s Island for the first day of the 10th annual Jazz Age Lawn Party presented by St-Germain and Martini & Rossi, which ran until Sunday, August 16.

The theme of the fête was the Roaring Twenties, where ladies sported flapper dresses and gentlemen were decked out in dapper suits that would make Jay Gatsby proud.

Attendees enjoyed period-style food and cocktails showcasing St-Germain and Martin & Rossi Sparkling Wines while dancing to tunes performed by Lawn Party Host (and event founder) Michael Arenella and his Dreamland Orchestra.

Arenella started the event ten years ago at Governor’s Island, as a small gathering of close friends to enjoy (and reminisce) the prohibition era, which continued with much success. The Jazz Age Lawn Party is now held two weekends every summer in June and August.

Those who came out to Saturday’s festive affair included Gloria von Bronewski, Camille VidalPatrick Janelle, Jessica Ciencin HenriquezAimee Dodds, Danielle Wetmore, Lauren Rossi, Michael HaarVanessa GualdronManrique Buso, Ticiani Meneses, Katie Calcaterra, Gregory Moore, Simon MulliganKaren Wright, Orlett McCall, and The Dreamland Follies.
