For all you art enthusiasts who are sick and tired of hearing the same old “you can look but you can’t touch,” get ready for fall 2012 when art observation revolutionizes into a delicious experience. To celebrate its 35th anniversary, La Maison du Chocolat has partnered with renowned chocolatier design firm Atelier Hapax in the creation of limited edition items, sculptural masterpieces, and over-the-top window displays to be featured in eleven world-wide Maison locations. The Rockefeller Center location is among the elite eleven boutiques to be a part of this yummy October fun.
The wise words, spoken by the modern chemistry guru Antoine Lavoisier, “nothing is lost, nothing is created, all is transformed”, are what drove the making of this special collection in which legendary chocolate packaging is transformed into edible art. Purchasable pieces in the collection are labeled with their own distinctive numbers, each uniquely celebrating the universal craze for chocolate. The collection will be officially revealed to the public at the 2nd edition of Paris Design Week taking place from September 10th-16th. Happy almost birthday La Maison du Chocolat.
