There are many ways to celebrate a 10th anniversary. For Phillip Lim, who’s eponymous brand, 3.1 Phillip Lim, hit the decade mark on September 14, the best way is with an elegant and understated outdoor dinner in Brooklyn, far from the madness of Fashion Week.

Guests, including Eva Chen, Natalie Joos and Anh Duong, gathered at North Brooklyn Farms in their favorite Lim pieces, and bathed in the light of the Manhattan skyline, toasted the designer and all his success with field-to-glass Tom Gore Vineyards wines.

A bonfire was lit to fight the inevitable September chill and fresh food from Marlow and Brothers served, while attendees regaled themselves with their favorite Phillip Lim anecdotes and stories of where and when they bought his clothes.

Fitting the theme of his Spring Collection “Stop and Smell the Flowers”, the designer’s soiree was not about reflecting too much on the past or focusing on the future, but enjoying the moment and the moment’s successes.
