Young Hollywood was transplanted to the rooftop of the Gramercy Hotel last night, as 200 VIPs gathered to celebrate the annual Junior Spring Benefit for the Lincoln Center Institute. Hosted by the ever-adorable Carey Mulligan, Zoe Kazan, Mamie Gummer, Lily Rabe and Rightor Doyle, and sponsored by Valentino and Clos du Bois wines, the event brought together the worlds of dance, music, theater, architecture and visual arts in an effort to bring creativity back to the class room.

Guests such as Paul Dano, Minnie Mortimer and Avenue’s own Peter Davis munched on the Gramercy’s delicious confections and danced under the stars to the tunes played by DJ Chelsea Leyland. The Clos du Bois flowed as the gorgeous (and newly single) Karen Elson graced the audience with a performance from her latest CD. It’s impossible for this Insider to think of a better way to spend a pleasingly crisp evening in the city. Can you?
