Last Night the worlds of art, media and technology converged in Switzerland, as Credit Suisse hosted an intimate evening of dinner and drinks in honor of renowned media artist, Christian Marclay at Fondation Beyeler as part of this years Art Basel. Avenue Insider favorite Dasha Zhukova played hostess to the evening, alongside her Art.sy co-founder Wendi Murdoch and Newsweek editor-in-chief Tina Brown who introduced an exclusive preview of Art.sy led by CEO Carter Cleveland.

Over the past 30 or so years, Marclay has explored the fusion of fine art and audio cultures, “transforming sounds and music into a visible, physical form through performance, collage, sculpture, installation, photography and video. To honor this occasion, Okkyung Lee, Maya Homburger and Hans Koch performed an interpretation of Marclay’s piece, Shuffle.

Guests such as actor Will Ferrell and wife Viveca Paulin Ferrell were treated to a delicious meal, great conversation, and a peek at the famed Beyeler family collection which boasts works from the likes of Andy Warhol, Mark Rothko and Edgar Degas.
