SAG-AFTRA Honors Ghetto Film School and David O. Russell

SAG-AFTRA, the actors’ union, hosted a dinner party to celebrate Ghetto Film School’s mentoring program A Call to Arts and to honor award-winning director David O. Russell. The event attracted a diverse group of film world insiders like Helen Mirren, Chris Tucker, Allison Williams, Whoopi Goldberg and Bob Balaban, who gathered at the newly launched 11 Howard for cocktails, dinner and conversation about lack of minority representation on the screen and the importance of mentorship to budding filmmakers.
