The world’s leading luxury brands rolled out the holiday red carpet for the 32nd Annual Miracle on Madison, Saturday, December 1. Seventy-five participating stores on Madison Avenue, located in the Madison Avenue Business District between 57th and 86th Streets, donated 20 percent of the day’s sales to benefit The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Pediatric Programs. The Society of MSK is a volunteer led organization that works to ensure the wellbeing of patients, raise funds for cancer research and treatment, and provide public education on the prevention, early detection, and treatment of cancer.

A huge turnout of shoppers was warmly greeted by The Society of MSK Miracle Committee during the in-store festivities. Shoppers and their families had the opportunity to meet Santa, get a merry embrace from MSK’s beloved therapy dogs, the Caring Canines, and listen to the carolers stationed down Madison spreading good cheer. Highlights of the 29-block shopping day event included free babysitting at Rebecca Taylor, personalized hand-painted handbags and customized jewelry by artisans at Tory Burch and Alexis Bittar. Curated gifts boxes at Kate Spade New York, a holiday cocktail bar at Jimmy Choo, and champagne and sweets at almost every stop. The Ralph Lauren Polar Bear made a personal appearance as well.
