On Thursday evening NOMOS Glashüette, Germany’s number one brand in fine watches, held an exclusive press preview and reception at Hotel Particulier on Grand Street. The event was one of celebration for the brand’s much anticipated US debut.

NOMOS is known for their timeless designs and incomparable craftsmanship, both which have contributed to the iconic reputations of their watches. The brand has more than 120 awards for design on their list of accolades.

During the private press preview guests had a chance to converse one-on-one with executives of the brand and designers of the watches. Topics covered the brand and the art of fine German watchmaking.

NOMOS and their US retail partner Wempe Fifth Avenue each donated $10,000, totaling $20,000, to Doctors Without Borders (DWB). DWB helps people worldwide where the need is greatest, delivering emergency medical aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters or exclusion from health care.

Pristine quality and incomparable combination of mechanics and aesthetics are what has made the brand so intriguing to design connoisseurs and customers alike. Don’t miss another second AVENUE insiders, get your watch today and tell time like an A-lister.
