Take a seat, Tom Ford! Although Tommy’s Park Avenue fashion show took much of the spotlight Wednesday night, a few of the glamorous crowd went out to a special screening of Home Again, the new film written and directed by Hallie Meyers-Shyer, hosted by the Cinema Society with Elizabeth Arden and Lindt Chocolate. The evening began at the Paley Center on 52nd Street, where Meyers-Shyer, along with cast members Reese Witherspoon, Candice Bergen, Pico Alexander, Jon Rudnitsky, Dolly Wells and Michael Cyril Creighton, introduced the film to a rapt audience. Home Again is a “modern romantic comedy about love, friendship, and the families we create”, and it was hard to ask for a better family than the one created at the screening—not with notable guests like Shoshanna Gruss, Christine Schwarzman and Jamee and Peter Gregory chomping popcorn.

After the movie was over, the party continued at the Skylark on 39th Street, where guests drank cocktails made with Qui Tequila and chatted about the film they’d just seen. All in all, not so bad a way to spend a Wednesday night during fashion week.

Also in attendance were Nico Tortorella (Younger), Kelly Rutherford, Peter Scolari (Girls), Zac Posen, Erin Richards (Gotham), Geneva Carr (Bull), Lea DeLaria (Orange is the New Black), Eve Plumb, Jill Rappaport (The Today Show), Linda Wells, Marina Rust Connor, Amber Ruffin (Late Night with Seth Meyers), Daniel Benedict, Chloe Malle, Will Kopelman, Alison Sarofim, Chloe Malle, Louisa Warwick, and Cinema Society founder Andrew Saffir.

Home Again is in theaters Friday.
