After putting himself on the map with the short-lived 7 Days, Moss put his stamp on The New York Times Magazine before moving on to become editor-in-chief of New York magazine. Under him, it’s been restored to the glory days of founder Clay Felker, and the website has become one of the industry’s most pioneering and successful—so much so that its arts and culture blog, Vulture, will soon become an independent site. New York has won 15 National Magazine Awards under Moss’ tenure, more than any other publication during that time. Moss has also co-edited three books while at New York, making him a true triple threat. Moss lives in Greenwich Village with his partner Daniel Kaizer (co-owner of Longitude books).
