Ain’t Too Proud to Beg: Vote!!!

November 8th is Election Day (as if you didn’t know) and while AVENUE┬ámakes no endorsements, it wants to remind you in the strongest terms possible that voting is important, way more important than looking at party pictures, looking for your name in bold-faced type, looking to see who went to that party you regretted or even who was invited when you weren’t. We don’t care which party you’re in, which party you favor, or which party you hate. We don’t care what you think of Hillary or Donald, either. We’ve heard quite enough of that, thank you. We do care that you vote for one of them. Voting is not only a right, it’s an obligation, and it gives you the goodie-bag-quality right to complain afterwards. We’ll return to our regularly scheduled programming of parties and pretty people and things to purchase at some point tomorrow afternoon. For now, forgive us if we say it again? Vote. Get out there and vote.
