Alice + Olivia Pre-Fall 2013 Collection — Our Favorite Looks

Wednesday, December 19, 2012

Though the winter season is quickly approaching, any true fashionista can tell you that it’s always a good idea to look ahead for upcoming trends. And Alice + Olivia’s fall 2013 pre-show — which debuted last week — reminded us that getting a preview of future fashion trends can be just as much fun as shopping for pieces for the current season. Are we right, or are we right?

The Alice + Olivia pre-fall collection, brainchild of designer Stacey Bendet, was reminiscent of “Sixties British suiting” with a touch of playfulness using patterns such as stripes and plaids, and a feminine slim cutting.

The collection included just the right amount of color —  a fun splash of warm shades like red and orange, alongside traditional black and white hues. The intertwining of past and present styles helped create a unique twist on the collection, urging fashion devotees to take some risks with their wardrobes next fall.

Take a look at our favorite looks above and let us know what you think below.
