As we mourned (or breathe a sigh of slight relief) the end of this season’s fashion month this past week, the French Ministry of Culture held a very special dinner for the recipient of this year’s ANDAM Fashion Award, Anthony Vaccarello. Fashion heavy-weights gathered at French Minister of Culture, Frederic Mitterand‘s headquarter’s to celebrate the success of the beloved French designer and to bid an official au revoir to Paris Fashion Week. Dressed in the designer’s stunning confections were model Anja Rubik (whose mile-long gams had heads whipping around) and the unbearably chic Lou Doillon, who was accompanied by her equally chic mother Jane Birkin. Alber Elbaz, Rick Owens, Haider Ackerman, Christian Louboutin and Azzedine Alaia were also on hand to congratulate their friend and fellow designer, making for an evening that oozed laid back glamor and style.
