Bronson Van Wyck is one of the most sought-after event planners on the planet. But when he threw his “Seven Swans A-Swimming” holiday party with Andrew Fry, it wasn’t about work, but rather “good friends, old friends, college buddies, our favorite people, our NYC family,” Van Wyck tells me.

Needless to say, the party had some of the best decor you could possibly imagine. “We took our theme from the line in Twelve Days of Christmas: On the 7th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me: seven swans a-swimming. We had seven swans, three black swans Natalie Portman-style and four Matthew Bourne-style.”

In addition to beauties dressed as swans and an amazing tree, Van Wyck and Fry served chicken pot pies, ceasar salad and grilled cheese sandwiches to a very chic circle of friends. Think: Alexandra Kerry, Joey Jalleo, Kat Cohen, Christian Leone, Roopal Patel, Jeffrey Tousey, Marc Lazard and girlfriend Karen Cord, Jill Kargman, Matthew Kelleher, Veronica Beard, Brad Comisar, Vanessa von Bismarck, Jeffrey Toussey, Mark Silver and Ruffian designers Claude Morais and Brian Wolk, to name a handful.
