Style connoisseurs have warmly embraced designer Angelo Galasso ever since the bespoke Italian menswear designer – who most famously has suited Al Pacino for over two decades – opened his doors stateside this spring at the Plaza Hotel’s beautifully restored Edwardian Room. So when the brand paired with Save Venice for a chic holiday shopping event on Tuesday evening, the fashion elite were bound to show up in full force. Adelina Wong Ettelson, Beatrice Rossi-Landi and Matthew White welcomed friends and supporters Alexandra Lind Rose, Nathalie Kaplan, Deb Tauber, Lisa Bytner, Mary Snow, Martha O’Brien, and Kimberly Putzer for some seasonal cheer and shopping – he now has a women’s line! 10% of the event’s proceeds benefited Save Venice and the restoration of art and architecture in Venice. The Young Friends of Save Venice will be throwing their annual masked ball in April. So check back with AVENUEinsider as we update you with more details on one of the most anticipated and glamorous charity events of the season.
