Da Silvano was the place to be on Tuesday, September 1, as New York’s finest gathered to celebrate Ann Tenna: A Novel, the latest graphic novel by acclaimed author and New Yorker cartoonist Marisa Marchetto.

It tells the story of a NYC-based gossip columnist who has a near death experience and cannot return to earth until she promises to become a better person. Including cameos by Coco Chanel, Gianni Versace and Page Six’s Emily Smith as well as gorgeous artwork, the novel is a funny and intuitive take on the social scene we all know and love.

Marchetto, who stunned in a custom blue LaQuan Smith dress, was on hand at the party to sign books and meet with fans, while manicurists provided guests with custom manicures featuring images from the book.

Guests included co-hosts Emily Smith and Dini von Mueffling, comedienne Sandra Bernhard, The New Yorker editor David Remnick, Vanity Fair correspondent Amy Fine Collins, fashion blogger Leandra Medine, journalist Alina Cho and model Anastasiya Karter, who wore a custom LaQuan Smith dress featuring the book’s cover.
