A-listers, music legends, and “cool cats” of all generations gathered together on Saturday, August 15 at philanthropist and business tycoon Ron Perelman’s private estate, The Creeks, in East Hampton for the 6th annual Apollo in the Hamptons benefit.


The hugely successful event raised a record $4 million for the iconic Jazz Age theater’s educational program that aims to enhance community life.


Vice Chariman Perelman’s exclusive guest list included names like Jack Nicholson, Mary Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy, Jimmy Fallon, Lewis Hamilton, Mayor Bill de Blasio, New England Patriots owner Bob Kraft, Chris Christie, Leonard Lauder, Paul Tudor Jones, co-founder of Miramax Harvey Weinstein and Georgina Chapman, John Sykes, Jay Penske and Elaine Irwin, Irving Azoff, Tommy Mottola, Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Ron Meyer, Ricki Noel LanderCharlie Walk, Lorraine Bracco, Eric and Diana Cantor, Alice and Tommy TischSteve and Christine Schwartzman, Matt Lauer, Chris Mullin, Dick Parsons, and Penny Marshall.


The evening’s performers, introduced by upcoming “Daily Show” host Trevor Noah, including Christina Aguilera, Jamie Foxx, Jon Bon Jovi, Pitbull, Smokey Robinson, the Roots, and Emeli Sande, kept the party swingin’. Foxx even incorporated the audience, inviting Fallon on stage for a duet. One of the most memorable moments of the night was Robinson and Bon Jovi’s performance of “The Tracks of My Tears,” reminding everyone of the power of music.
