ARTrageous Art for Heart’s Sake

Last weekend, Janna Bullock, ARTrageous Founder Linda Argila, and Hour Children Founder Sr. Tesa Fitzgerald co-hosted an intimate dinner party at Bullock’s home on Meadow Lane in in Southampton to kick off the upcoming ARTrageous Gala + Art Auction celebrating Hour Children’s 30th Anniversary.



Nicole Miller, Ally Shapiro, Carole Crist (the former First Lady of Florida), Whisbe, Sean Sullivan, Robin Cofer, Zoe Bullock, Johanna Flores and Bonnie Pfeifer Evans were among the notable guests.



AVENUE is a media sponsor of ARTrageous, a unique fundraising event benefiting women, children and families through art. Children collaborate with renowned artists to help create artwork for auction. Donald Baechler, George Condo, Francesco Clemente, April Gornik, Eric Fischl, Jeff Koons, Glenn Ligon, Marilyn Minter, Vik Muniz, Richard Prince, James Rosenquist, and Kehinde Wiley are among the artists over the years who have supported the worthy cause. The artwork created, along with donated works of art and luxury items, will be sold in a live and silent auction at the ARTrageous Gala.



Hour Children is a leading nonprofit organization striving to end the cycle of intergenerational incarceration for 30 years. Hour Children provides programs and services to over 5,000 families annually, helping formerly incarcerated women reunify with their children and build healthy independent lives. Hour Children was named to acknowledge the important hours that shape
the life of a child with an incarcerated mother – the HOUR of their mother’s arrest, the HOUR of their prison visit, and the more hopeful HOUR of reunification.
