Ashton and Demi Attached at ‘No Strings Attached’ Screening

Friday, January 21, 2011

Last night at The Tribeca Grand Hotel, all eyes were on Ashton Kutcher at The Cinema Society’s screening of No Strings Attached. Looking dapper as ever wearing DKNY (a sponsor of the screening along with DeLeon Tequila), Kutcher introduced the film by singing the praises of his costar Natalie Portman.

“I’m not the star of the show. This is her movie, I just get to be in it with her,” Kutcher said, adding that this film “may have been the most fun” to make. It was certainly fun to watch.

At the after party at the Soho Grand Hotel, Donna Karan and Ashton’s real life leading lady, Demi Moore, chatted about the film. Demi raved, “It’s fun to watch and doesn’t leave you feeling empty.” I agree, Demi.

At the party after the screening, Hollywood power couple Ashton and Demi worked the crowd, hand in hand, like pros. They definitely are attached by more than just stringsa.

Wearing black lace by Donna Karan, rising starlet Greta Gerwig not only looked fabulous, but is fabulous. She’s one of the film’s funniest characters. When asked if it was hard to keep a straight face she admitted, “There was a lot of giggling.”

Amongst the crowd at the Soho Grand’s new Club Room were familiar, fabulous (and beautiful) faces: Abby Elliott, Howard and Beth Stern, Charlotte Ronson, Jamie Tisch, Gabourey Sidibe, Olivia Palermo, Fred Armisen, Ivanka Trump & Jared Kushner, Kelsey Grammer (with new girlfriend Kayte Walsh by his side), Bai Ling, Carol Alt, Rachel Roy, Nicole Miller, Kelly Bensimon, Amy Sacco, Karen Duffy, Debbie Bancroft, Michelle Paterson, Daniel Benedict, Alex Lundqvist, Jeisa Chiminazzo, Lorenzo Martone (clean shaven and wearing a fur coat), Frederique Van der Wal, Drew Nieporent, Tyson Ballou, Wendi Murdoch, Helen Lee Schifter, director Paul Haggis, Olivier Theyskens with club-kid legend Sophia Lamar, Tamara Mellon, Ali Wise, Hilary Rhoda, Zoe Lister-Jones, Phillip Bloch, Dan Abrams and constant buddy David Zinczenko, Dylan Lauren, Bettina Zilkha and Cinema Society’s always-smiling host Andrew Saffir.
