This year marks the second year of a truly influential Asia Society celebration. The Asia Game Changer Awards and Gala Dinner took place Tuesday evening at the United Nations. It kicked off at 6 pm with a reception followed by dinner at 7 pm. Guests arrived in their best cocktail attire, or if they were feeling really inspirational, their national dress.

This awards dinner and gala honors the dreamers and leaders of our world who Asia Society thinks are making a positive impact on the future of Asia. The men and women recognized at this event represent the spectrum of achievement, from positions of power to ground-level laboratories of innovation. The 2015 Asia Game Changer of the Year is Manny Pacquiao. Many know him as a professional boxer, but Manny is also a philanthropist and member of the Philippines House of Representatives. He’s truly changing the game in more ways than one.

Other guests at the event were Dan Washburn, Josette Sheeran, Mariam Al-Mansouri, Shuji Nakamura, Indra Nooyi, Stephen Bird, Norma Kamali, Henrietta H. Fore, Kevin Rudd, Kiran Bir Sethi, Lei Jun, Amelia Ross and Rene Fleming.
