AVENUE Celebrates Women in Art

Some of the art world’s biggest faces came together at 101 West 78th Street last night to celebrate the women of “Don’t Call Them ‘It’ Girls,” Ben Diamond‘s sensational new piece on women in art published in this month’s issue of AVENUE. Hosted by AVENUE along with GTIS Partners and Brown Harris Stevens Development Marketing, it was a fun night that served up art world excitement (plus some bubbly goodness, courtesy of VieVite). On hand were three of the women featured in the story: Bettina Prentice, Anne Huntington and Tiffany Zabludowicz. “It was an honor to be able to profile these women,” said Diamond. “We’re in an interesting time right now, and I wanted to spotlight some powerful women taking a stand.”


Also in attendance were Stephanie Nass, Richard Glenaude, Rob Rediker, Joe Vela, Chris Chang, Costa Petrunoff, Stephen Kliegerman, Kristina Jacobs, Regina Kravitz, Liana Backal, Nurit Kahane, Robert Vahradian, Tom Shapiro, Hunter Frick and, from AVENUE, editors Diamond and Kelly Laffey and President Randi Schatz.
