“I am a born and raised ‘city kid,’ as they call us, so my whole life has really been one big indelible New York City moment. When I think of favorites, Central Park automatic-ally comes to mind. It truly is a sanctuary of sorts for me, a quiet place—nowadays, anyhow. In high school, it was about wearing my kilt and flirting with boys after school. But that’s just one moment; I’ve enjoyed so many there. I’ll always remember getting dressed up at 15 with my besties, fake ID in hand, and drinking sangria at various Third Avenue eateries before going down the slide at Club USA. On one particular night, I scraped my elbow. I have a scar! That’s truly indelible.”
