Kelly Bensimon, reality TV star:

“In 2003, I had this amazing visit to the Barbie shop from 1959 in Stuyvesant Town. I was researching ultimate American icons, and I had come across a lady who created an entire bedroom devoted to Barbie. I’m a Barbie lover and avid Barbie buyer for my two girls, so to see Barbieville recreated was magical. As it turns out, Barbie and all her accessories and even her love, Ken, whom she never married, live in a rent-stabilized apartment with a wardrobe Michael Kors would die for. The only things missing were ‘Kelly’ and her Corvette.”
