Hamptonites, you are now officially allowed to wear white. (Not that we believe in following the rules…)

AVENUE on the Beach kicked off the summer season with a party celebrating its June issue, which profiles cover stars Ann and Mick Jones. The rock duo secretly wed for the second time this past December, and they divulged the secrets of their whirlwind romance, and told tales about their famous brood of Ronson-Dexter-Jones children.

The party was held at Calissa, a new Mediterranean-inspired restaurant in the Water Mill premises formerly occupied by Greenwich and Red Stixs. The breezy, revamped space features both indoor and outdoor garden seating. Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and sipped on rosé from Vie Vité. Representatives from Blushington Makeup and Beauty Lounge provided touchups for anyone who needed to re-do their makeup after a few sips. Guests included Don and Katrina Peebles, Katlean De Monchy, Geoffrey Bradfield, Lee Fryd, Margo Manhattan, Wendy Diamond, Bill Sclight, Cheri Kaufman Chris McLaughlinNorah LawlorJean Shafiroff and Larry Milstein, who will be reporting on Hamptons summer parties throughout the season (along with his sister Toby Milstein)in our newest column, “Text on the Beach.”

AVENUE publishes in New York City and the Hamptons all summer. Also featured in the June issue is AVENUE’s list of sexiest Hamptons singles. What are you waiting for? The summer is ticking away…
