Some of New York’s most elegant swells journeyed down to the Eight Senses Boutique in SoHo last night to celebrate AVENUE’s two new contributing editors, Anthony Haden-Guest and Nina Griscom. For those who somehow don’t know, Nina has long been one of the funniest women on the Upper East Side, and brings her wit and wisdom to a new monthly backpage column. Anthony has been chronicling New York society for decades, and has already brought his mordant wit to AVENUE’s web pages with his cartoon series,Modern Manners (and How to Survive Them).”

In tribute to these two legends, guests were encourage to pose in an instagram cutout that featured cartoons of the duo on its sides. That wasn’t the only fun photo opportunity of the night; the party was also a celebration of AVENUE’s Palm Beach A-List issue, and more than one guest posed in front of a blown-up photo of the issue’s cover boy, hunky polo player Nic Roldan.

Guests included Lily Baker, Leonel PirainoAnn Dexter Jones, Maria Valentino, Mark Freiser, Brinkley Skye, Alyson Donnelly, Cristina Carrion, Delia and Kevin von Neuschatz, Rose Hartman, Roy Kean, Ryan Nessing, Cathryn Collins, Liliana Cavendish, Olek,  Elyn Kuznetsova, Lucia Hwang Gordon and Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin. Food was provided by Sydney’s Taylor Made Cuisine, Wine and Champagne by Vievite and DJ services by DJ Super Dave from Allen Dalton Productions.
