The grand ballroom of the Mandarin Oriental was filled with scholars, students, parents, alumni and friends of Marymount Manhattan College on the evening of May 5th. The celebration toasted to the institution’s Annual Scholarship Benefit, a fundraising event with no shortage of fun.

Entrepreneur, environmentalist, philanthropist, founder and president of CBS EcoMedia, Paul Polizzotto, was honored with the Visionary Award for his successes. Throughout the event, Auctioneer Billy Harris led a Live Auction and Paddle Raise for once-in-a-lifetime experiences such as golfing excursions and a pair of tickets to see the acclaimed Broadway musical Hamilton plus dinner for two at Sardi’s.

Guests enjoyed a formal dinner beside beautiful views of Columbus Circle and Central Park. For a musical treat, special performances were held by renowned artists Chris Pinnella, Little Kids Rock, Jenna Ushkowitz, Vivian Reed, William Foster McDaniel and Marymount Manhattan College Musical Theatre Students. All in all, the event raised more than $650,000 in support of student scholarships.
