Hamish Bowles has done a genius job (which you will read all about in our December issue) putting together the exhibit “Balenciaga Spanish Master” at the Queen Sofia Spanish Institute on Park Avenue. Last weekend, Bowles and Oscar de la Renta hosted a private preview of the show and designers like Alvin Valley and Bibhu Mohapatra showed up, as well as Christopher Mason, Gigi Mortimer, Michelle Harper, Jane Stubbs and Lisa Fine. Bowles looked dapper and dashing as usual in a navy double breasted suit and the clothes are not to be believed. It’s pure Balenciaga bliss.
