Bergdorf Goodman’s Betty Halbreich Launches Memoir, “I’ll Drink To That.”

Betty Halbreich, Bergdorf Goodman’s legendary personal shopper, had much to drink to this weekend: the closing of another successful New York Fashion Week and the release of her memoir, I’ll Drink to That. Over the past 40 years, Halbreich has spent her days at the luxe department store dressing the likes of Meryl Streep, Betty Ford and Candice Bergen.


Until the 2013 documentary “Scatter My Ashes At Bergdorf’s,” Halbreich remained relatively unknown to anyone who wasn’t rich and famous or didn’t posses an AmEx black card. But with the launch of I’ll Drink to That and a television series in the works, created by Girls’ Lena Dunham, Halbreich’s anonymity is about to vanish.


I’ll Drink to That is on sale at Bergdorf Goodman now.
