The stylish, and ultimately fabulous gathered this past Thursday to celebrate the launch of Swedish designer Johan Lindeberg‘s latest foray into the fashion world; a new pop-up shop for his BLK DNM label as well as the inaugural issue of his new poster-sized magazine, Gazette. With stylist extraordinaire Alexsandra Woroniecka at the helm, and contributors such as Wes Anderson featured in the zine, it’s bound to be a hot new name on the publishing scene.

The Pop-Up Shop, situated at 237 Lafayette in Soho, will house Lindeberg’s newest line of men’s and women’s denim and apparel for the next 6 to 8 weeks, with hopes of a permanent space opening up in September. The deconstructed space was the perfect backdrop to a collection filled with relaxed denim, tailored blazers, and comfy t-shirts that are unbearably and oh-so-effortlessly cool; much like Lindeberg, and co-host of the party Woroniecka.

Artist and Gazette contributor Nate Lowman played DJ for the night as the likes of Erin Kling, Waris Ahluwalia, and Annabelle Dexter Jones did their best to stay cool in the 90 degree heat and checked out the collection from the King of Cool. Following the event, Lindeberg and Woroniecka joined their guests for an intimate dinner at the ultra-stylish Indochine, where the happy crowd toasted the new enterprise and danced the night away.
