An event that brings together animal lovers for an evening of dinner and dancing while raising funds for cats and dogs in need is in our midst. Saturday, August 15, at the Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) campus in Wainscott the ARF will host the Bow Wow Meow Ball.

The vast 22-acre campus will serve as stomping grounds where the guests will enjoy cocktails followed by dinner catered by Glorious Foods. The affair is black, white and silver; the elegance created by David Monn and Alex Papachristidis.

After dinner there will be dancing with music by Peter Duchin Orchestra and the evening’s emcee will be Brooke Shields along with current ARF board members Katharine and William P. Rayner.

The evening is to honor internationally acclaimed architect Peter Marino while also celebrating ARF’s animal lifesaving work, as it is the leading animal adoption center on the East End.

Auctioneer Benjamin Doller will be in attendance leading a live auction and there will also be a silent auction and an online auction via A group of ARF cats and dogs will be in attendance as well, available for adoption.
