Brain and Behavior Research Foundation Palm Beach Event

Jill and Sandy Sirulnick hosted the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation’s February 5th event at their home in Palm Beach. The foundation, is a non-profit organization that focuses on mental health research. 100% of funds and contributions are invested in NARSAD Grants leading to discoveries in understanding causes and improving treatments of disorders in children and adults, such as depression, schizophrenia, anxiety, autism, and bipolar, attention deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), post-traumatic stress and obsessive-compulsive disorders.

The event brought together many supporters of the cause, including Renee Steinberg, Jane and Richard Novick, Dr. Kafui and Erikka Dzirasa, Dr. Jeff Borenstein, John and Suzanne Golden, Ellen Sosnow, Fran Weisman, Judy Daniels, Dr. Herbert Pardes, Marjorie Warren, Kathy Jacobson, Carole Mallement, Adrienne Haber, Pat Falkenberg, Fran Kittredge, Steven and Ruth Katz, Pat and Ed Falkenberg, Carol Seligson, Terry Schottenstein, Andrea Stark and Carla Goldworm.

Dr. Kafui Dzirasa spoke at the event about “Our Resilient Brain: Coping with Stress, Anxiety and Memory Loss” and discussed how stress and anxiety affect memory and how to best manage them in everyday life.
