Broadway’s biggest night of the year: the 68th annual Tony Awards

Sunday evening, the 2014 Tony Awards were held at Radio City Music Hall in the Rockefeller Center. These awards honor Broadway’s best plays and performances.

This year “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder” and Robert Schenkkan‘s “All the Way” were named top shows. Neil Patrick Harris, Audra McDonald, Jessie Mueller and Bryan Cranston took home top awards this year.

Tony-winning actor Hugh Jackman served as the emcee for his fourth time at the 68th annual Tony Awards.

The evening was one of pride and honor as the casts’ members and award winners celebrated their successes. Following the awards gala, celebration continued at the official Tony Awards after party in the Plaza.

This year’s awards had quite the star-studded lineup in the audience including Daniel Radcliffe, Lucy LiuOrlando Bloom, Leighton Meester and Deborra-Lee Furness.

The American Theatre Wing’s Tony Awards are presented by Tony Award Productions, a joint venture of the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. These two organizations have jointly administered the Tonys since its very first telecast.

The Tony Awards arrivals, award ceremony and after-party celebration were all of red-carpet status. Beaming spotlights, deep red roses and sparkling crystal graced the tables and the stars & guests as they enjoyed an evening of successes and achievements.
