When it comes to spreading holiday cheer, Brooks Brothers are the ones who evoke the most smiles on children’s faces. The legendary retailer hosted their 11th Annual Holiday Party at their flagship location, with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres for grown-ups and sweet treats for the children of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Brooks Brothers’ partnership with St. Jude took off in 2005, and has been growing ever since. One of the surprises of the night was an announcement of the retailer’s long-term financial commitment to Brooks Brothers Computational Biology Center at St. Jude made by Brooks Brothers Chairman and CEO Claudio Del Vecchio and ALSAC/St. Jude President and CEO Richard Shadyac, Jr. The new partnership will provide St. Jude with state-of-the-art laboratories and offices for researchers, doctors and scientists.

“It is our hope that one day, through our combined efforts, we will see an end to pediatric cancer,” said Mr. Del Vecchio.

After the official part was over, the store started filling up with children’s laughter, as kids were taking pictures with Santa, munched on holiday treats and decorated cookies and ornaments. The kids were also joined by special guests like Zac Posen, John Slattery, Nastia Liukin, Jesse Palmer, Robin Lord Taylor and Bridget McGarry.
