Broome Street Academy Hosts Exceptional Student Art Show

Broome Street Academy hosted an exclusive VIP silent auction and exhibit showcasing exceptional student artwork on May 25 at Gibney Dance Agnes Varis Performing Arts Center.


The invitation-only event brought together an intimate group of influential philanthropists and entertainers from the New York City area. The student artists were also in attendance to further explain their artistic process and inspirations. The pieces presented a broad range of themes including self-reflection and social justice. Student artists participated in a contemporary dance by The Door and BSA members.


The evening was catered by Elegant Affairs as well as desserts provided by Sweet Generation Bakery and wines by City Winery.


Robert Kushner, celebrated artist and founder of the Pattern and Decoration movement, was in attendance. Other notable attendees include Charles Simon, Monica de la Torre, Elaine Schott, Bryan Terrell Clark, Robert Raeder, Jonathan Elmore, Devon Kab, Qunmi Fowora, Adenike Thomas and Richard Siegel.
