A British invasion of the most welcome sort has come to the City in the form of a Huntsman outpost on West 57th, the London-based atelier’s first foray into the U.S. market. The 167-year-old bespoke outfitters’ new midtown location is owed to Belgian businessman Pierre Lagrange, who purchased the firm two years ago.

To celebrate the opening of the custom retailer’s new home, the city’s most sartorially savvy showed up at the nearby Le Bernardin to toast midtown’s new favorite neighbor. Among the attendees were Nicky Hilton Rothschild and husband James, Vanessa von Bismark, Peter SorosJay McInerneySerena BoardmanMisha Nonoo, Waris AhluwaliaHamish Bowles, and Alexander Gilkes.
