They say the only place where a Friday night in February can be fun is Palm Beach. If you need proof, just look at the party Elizabeth Monaco and Neil McCarthy threw last weekend in Wellington for 120 of their closest friends, including Georgina Bloomberg. The shindig had it all—drinks, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction—but best of all, it came guilt free. All proceeds went to the Animal Medical Center and its Compassionate Community Funds. These funds, most of which provide free or subsidized care for pets whose owners need financial assistance, lie at the heart of AMC’s mission to protect and strengthen the profound connection between people and their pets. This was an important cause to Monaco and McCarthy, who were instrumental in creating the AMC to the Rescue fund.

The event was also co-chaired by Donna Acquavella, Jenny Dunion, Emilia Fanjul, Alex Hamer, Keith Johnson, Emilia Krimendahl, Elaine LangoneBarbara Nitsch, Holly Orlando, Patty Raynes, Glen Senk, John Talley, Lyman T. Whitehead and Cathy Zicherman.
