The Central Park Conservancy’s Taste of Summer gathered 900 guests in Bethesda Terrace in Central Park to kickoff the summer with style. The annual benefit, this year held on June 10, brought together visionaries and New York’s most generous philanthropists to help support the restoration and maintenance of the park.

The evening featured a special contribution by Maccioni Restaurants who hosted The Taste Café and brought selections from their Le Cirque, Le Cirque Café, Circo and Sirio ventures, as well as sample tastings from some of area’s most celebrated restaurants. Guests were also treated to a luxury silent auction before twisting and twirling under the stars to the city’s hottest DJs.

The event was chaired by Kristy and Jonathan Korngold; Carol Sutton and William M. Lewis, Jr.; Laurie and Jay Mandelbaum; Gillian & Sylvester Miniter; and Melissa Vail and Norman C. Selby, who all attended the event dressed in their colorful summer best to celebrate their hard work.

Other attendees included: Ubah Hassan; DJ Kiss; Anne and Bill Harrison; Amie and Tony James; Serena Miniter; Amelia Ogunlesi; Janelle Proko; Tamara Harris Robinson; Kimberly Hatchet; Dawn and Pat Kiernan; Susan Somerville; Sharon Jacob; Doug Blonsky; Mauro and Sirio MaccioniPamela Awad; Coke Anne and Jarvis Wilcox; CeCe Haydock; Anne Marie Bratton; and Lily, Allison and Patti and Eric Fast.
