Champage Louis Roederer Celebrates Brut Nature 2006 With Philippe Starck at The New Museum

Wednesday, October 8, 2014

Last evening, Champagne Louis Roederer hosted an intimate cocktail party in The New Museum’s Sky Room to celebrate the US premier of its newest creation, Brut Nature 2006. This new champagne was created in collaboration with the world-renowned Parisian designer, Philippe Starck. The new cuvée is the first dosage free champagne for the House of Louis Roederer, inspired by a theme of authenticity and simplicity.

The bottle, with a label designed by Philippe Starck, highlights the organic theme of simplicity by setting the words of importance in color. On the design, Starck explains, “The theme of the bottle of Brut Nature 2006 is really related to its contents, and the contents were so potent that I decided to design a bottle that was stripped of any superfluous embellishment.”

Guests of the event were able to enjoy exquisite food pairings that included a French style Goose Foie Gras, Summer Compte selected by Starck himself, and organic heart of Scottish Smoked Salmon. Attendees were also privileged to hear personally from Philippe Starck, President Frédéric Rouzaud, and Chef de Caves Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon.

In attendance were Jasmine Starck, Michael Klug, Ramon Martin, Ryan Lobo, and Adam Glassman.
