As New Yorkers escape the overly crowded Manhattan during the busy holiday season for elegant French and Swiss ski resorts, Chanel will be following them. For the seventh consecutive year, Karl Lagerfeld has launched the Chanel Ephemeral Boutique in the Savoyard Ski Resort of Courchevel, taking residence in a sophisticated and spacious location in the heart of the retreat. Chanel aficionados may recognize that the store’s décor is inspired by the Cruise 2015/16 show in Seoul, Korea, where geometric architecture and raw materials such as concrete, metal and wood set the scene.

Throughout Chanel’s two month residency in Courchevel, the fashion house will display the Cruise Collection, Ready-to-Wear, the J12, Mademoiselle Privé and Première watches collections, including the BOYFRIEND watch. On top of that, high jewelry creations will be displayed in the store between December 31st and January 11th.
