This week brings some very exciting news on the shopping scene. French luxury footwear designer, Christian Louboutin, has opened a newly expanded boutique on 965-967 Madison Avenue.

The previous 4,400 square foot space is now almost double the size and showcases both women’s and men’s collections. (Think shoes, bags, small leather goods, and beauty must-haves—the works).

Redesigned by 212box Architecture in collaboration with Christian Louboutin, the space boasts distinctive details that perfectly reflect the brand’s singular, luxurious aesthetic.

Step inside the store, and on the left hand side, you’ll find the women’s section with an instillation of laser-cut metal screens that reflect eye-catching wave-like patterns, arched niches and a bold red carpet inspired by Louboutin’s shoes with signature red lacquered soles.

A vintage metal gate adjoins the men’s collection, where there is a leather display wall with embroidered diamond shaped patterns and a charcoal grey carpet.

Overall, the boutique offers a truly unique shopping experience. What can we say, we’re head over heels in love.
