Christofle held another dinner event in its “Art of the Table: Traditional Dining for the Modern World” series, this time co-hosted by Tracy Stern. It was held at Christofle’s NYC store on Wednesday January 28th. The brand has been organizing several of these private dinners around North America to introduce its selection of tableware, present new ideas and options and inspire customers to update their current pieces. The events are geared towards a sophisticated younger generation who may have less experience in the art of formal dining.

“Through the series we hope to take away the pressure often associated with formal dinner parties and teach a new generation the pleasures of being able to properly set a table, expressing themselves with design and incorporating proper etiquette in the modern era,” said Justin Trabert brand ambassador for Christofle.

The dinners usually consist of a champagne reception and four course meal where guests discuss trends in entertaining and dining etiquette and speak about the function and use of different silverware so they can leave with all the information they need to throw their next grand soiree.

However, the dinners are always driven by the guests, and their personal interests and experiences. Last night’s guests included Justin Trabert, Lauren Lawrence, Susan Shin, Tana Chung, Suzan Kremar, Michele Gerber Klein, Nicole Noonan, Cassandra Seidenfeld, Sandra Cohen and Barbara Regna.
