What is summer without a well-known, charismatic superhero bursting onto our screens?

Adding to its already heavy-populated celluloid universe, Marvel recently released its newest action film “Ant Man” and celebrated with a screening at the SVA theater. The event, hosted by the Cinema Society and Audi, gathered all of the film’s stars, including Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas and Bobby Cannavale, and fans who packed the room to see the story of the famous shrinking super hero brought to life.

Determined to keep us safe from all possible villains, or at least from the inevitable mid-summer boredom, the film was well received by guests who made sure to congratulate the cast before speeding off to the after party, held at St. Cloud, the rooftop bar of the Knickerbocker hotel.

Attendees included Corey Stoll, Andrew Rannells, Cory Bond, Ashley Williams, Malin Ackerman, Pat Cleveland and Nanette Lepore.
