Cocktail reception to celebrate summer lineup at the Parrish Art Museum

Tuesday, July 1, 2014

Saturday afternoon at a private residence in Bridgehampton, friends of the museum attended a cocktail reception, celebrating the exciting lineup of summer activities at the Parrish Art Museum. The museum was founded in 1898 but recently relocated and opened the doors of its new home in November 2012.

12,200 square feet of exhibition space (which is three times more than the previous location) and seven sky-lit galleries make up the 34,400-square-foot Herzog & de Meuron-designed building that is the new Parrish.

This summer, the Parrish has quite a variety of events to offer its members and the general public. There will be workshops, camps, guided tours, yoga classes, music sessions, benefit parties, talks and films throughout July, August and mid-September.

The reception pulled many guests from their summer abodes to celebrate everything the Parrish has to offer. Some of these people included the Parrish Art Museum director Terrie Sultan, founder and managing principal of HFZ Capital Group Ziel Feldman, Dr. Elliot Heller, plastic surgeon, Howard Lorber, Dottie Herman, Susan De França and Helene Feldman.

Go online at now to reserve your spot, spaces are limited! The events are open for all ages and family-oriented, so no matter what kind of fun you’re looking for, we’re sure the Parrish has it.
