Jacqueline Weld Drake hosted yet another spectacular cocktail reception on March 14th, celebrating the upcoming exhibition at Museum of Arts and Design’s LOOT: MAD ABOUT JEWELRY and honoring two noble women, Joan Hornig and Kay Unger.

Every year Michele Cohen and Marsy Mittlemann, The Benefit Dinner Chairs, and LOOT’s Curator, Bryna Pomp, present the most cutting-edge jewelry designs and give a rare opportunity to acquire idyosincratic pieces from more than 40 of the most skilled creators in the industry.

Guests have gathered at the intimate setting for a dinner and cocktails, as well as to admire the innovative jewelry compositions, made from a wide range of materials including silver, pearls, and semiprecious stones, as well as more unconventional materials like glass, wood, hand-painted canvas, porcelain, papier-mâché , concrete, zinc, sequins, and feathers.
