Today’s the day. Election day, that is. Whether you have chosen to vote bright and early this morning, checked it off your to-do list during lunch, or plan on doing so after reading this, the results will be rolling in tonight. And what better way to toast the occasion—or ease the tension—or both—than with a delicious, hearty meal? Just in time for dinner, there’s good news: Rôtisserie Georgette, the go-to restaurant for rustic French fare founded by Georgette Farkas, offers a delivery service with a menu ranging from salmon crudo starters to stuffed and crisped potato sides, and of course, classic whole roasted chicken dishes. Or if you prefer, make a reservation at the East Sixtieth Street hot spot and put a pause to the constant-news-following for an hour or two. Better comfort food than Valium!
