Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group just wrapped up their third annual CS Talks event. Inspired, in part, by other speaker series like TED Talks, CS Talks is an eight-day series of events and dialogues for the real estate industry, that this year spanned 17 new developments and drew more than 1,250 industry professionals.

Events popped up all over Manhattan and to the Brooklyn waterfront. CS Talks is designed to give industry professionals access to the city’s top new developments and developers. On the West Side Related CEO Jeff Blau spoke to the dynamic changes underway in West Chelsea at the penthouse of Zaha Hadid’s 520 West 28th Street on The High Line. And on the Upper East Side, developer Edward Baquero unveiled 20 East End Avenue’s club-inspired library space. Attendess also took the new East River Ferry directly to Brooklyn’s The Greenpoint where developer Richard Mack and The New York Times’ Stefanos Chen discussed the future of the Brooklyn waterfront.

“This year’s compelling events at CS Talks resonated with the city’s top agents and industry tastemakers, who cam out in record numbers,” said Kelly Kennedy Mack, President of Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group.

277 Fifth Avenue, one of Corcoran Sunshine’s newest projects, hosted Food52 founder Amanda Hesser and interior architect Jeffrey Beers who discussed the ever-evolving New York restaurant scene. But is was the major developments downtown that drew the largest crowds.

Designer Piero Lissoni flew over from Italy especially for the official launch of Tribeca’s 45 Park Place, an event hosted by developer Sharif El-Gamal of SoHo Properties. And closing out this year’s CS Talks was the unveiling of Brad Ford’s design for The Penthouse at Tribeca’s One Hundred Barclay complete with a champagne toast to celebrate.

“New development is intertwined with arts, culture and dining in New York, and CS Talks is a celebration of that fascinating meeting point” Mack said.
