Crimes of the Heart (throbs) with Keanu and co. at Cinema Society’s “Henry’s Crime” Screening

Wednesday, April 6, 2011

“I broke my foot by sticking my foot in my mouth,” joked James Caan as he waved his cane at the screening of the comedic crime caper “Henry’s Crime” hosted by Andrew Saffir‘s The Cinema Society and DeLeon Tequila at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema. “Enjoy the movie,” the film’s other star Keanu Reeves simply stated, standing with his arm around his leading lady Vera Farmiga.

Afterwards at The Trilby at The Cooper Square Hotel, there was wall to wall celebrities. Think Jena Malone, Courtney Love, Fisher Stevens (who also stars in the film), director Malcolm Venville, Candice Bergen, Parker Posey, Eve¬†Plumb (a.k.a. Jan Brady!), Kevin Zegers, Lee Pace, Olivia Palermo, Daniel Benedict, China Chow, Louise Roe,¬†Marcus Schenkenberg (who was gearing up to model the next day in “Dressed to Kilt” and is working on an underwear line and a men’s cologne), fashion femmes Mary Alice Stephenson, Ashley Baker and Linda Fargo to name just a few.

Any crimes committed?

“I just totally geeked out in front of Keanu Reeves. I told him I was an FBI agent + he goes ur a criminal + I said yep + he goes I know! Ugh,” tweeted Ali Wise. Ah – a crime of the heart (throb).
