Daniel Wellington Holiday Pop Up Shop

Monday, November 23, 2015

Just in time for the glorious gift-giving season comes yet another exciting holiday pop up shop: Last Thursday, Swedish watch brand Daniel Wellington officially kicked off the launch of their downtown store, which will remain open until December 20.

Located on 355 Bowery, the space evokes a timeless and classic feel, matching their signature timepieces, which features minimalistic styles with interchangeable leather and NATO fabric straps for versatility. Step inside, and you’ll find the popular—and affordable—women’s and men’s watches as well as new pieces from their Dapper Collection neatly displayed in custom wooden displays (made by a local carpenter and constructed in oak).

Known for its strong online presence and creative Instagram feed, the brand was inspired to build in-person relationships with shoppers and open a pop up shop from a concept they introduced at Baselworld 2015 called Drinks with Daniel Wellington. The venue includes a watch bar, where shoppers can try on styles while sipping cocktails and learning about the brand’s Scandinavian heritage.

“When we started looking for a location for the pop-up shop, it was important for us to find a city and an area that represented us as a brand,” says CEO Filip Tysander. “Full of inspiration, culture and history, New York is a trend-setting city that sets the standards for style, fashion, art, and music. Strategically situated in the Lower East Side, the Daniel Wellington pop up is at the crossroads of where creatives work and play, and welcomes the unique energy of the neighborhood.”

Shop the brand on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and you’ll receive a sweet deal of 25% off its pieces both in the holiday pop up and online. Time to gear up!
