And you thought your “welcome” basket of muffins was a kind gesture.

Lighting and antiques dealer David Duncan and design publicist Michael McGraw hosted an elegant cocktail party on Monday night to welcome new neighbors Lindsey Coral Harper, Max Sinsteden, and Catherine Olasky at their townhouse on East 60th Street.

After interning at Ralph Lauren, Georgia native interior designer Harper opened opened her own firm in 2007. Her new  office space will be located on the second floor of 247 East 60th  Street.  On the same floor, interior design team Catharine Olasky and Maximilian Sistenden‘s firm Olasky & Sinsteden will have a new office as well. Olasky and Sisteden both came to New York from London and have worked numerous firms including Bunny Williams, Colefax & Fowler, David Easton, and Charlotte Moss.

The menu gave a cheeky nod to the guests of honor’s roots with Southern Pimento Cheese and English tea sandwiches. Guests sipped on chilled rosé, perfect for an early summer evening with such an engaging group of young designers.
