With Halloween just around the corner (well, almost!) Delete Blood Cancer DKMS is getting ready to throw a “Dark Circus” themed bash—also known as the organization’s second annual Blood Ball—to raise funds in support of their fight against blood cancer.

The event will be held at downtown hotspot, The Box, on Thursday, October 29 from 8-11pm. More than 300 guests including Derek Lam, Mia Moretti, Kelly Cutrone, Julie Henderson, and Teresa Moore, are expected to attend. Dance music courtesy of New York-based deejay, MICK, and a number of circus-related performances are on the schedule, while light bites and cocktails will be served.

“Every three minutes, someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with a blood cancer. The Blood Ball is a way to raise awareness and funds to help people battling these deadly diseases, and share our message with a younger audience,” said Jaclinn Tanney, Director of Fundraising and Development at DKMS. “The event is open to the public and 100% of every dollar raised goes directly to bone marrow donor registration.”

Sponsors of the festive gathering include Godiva Chocolatier, Ricky’s NYC, WhistlePig Whiskey, and Lilou Paris. Plus, Veuve Clicquot and Belvedere Vodka will be the official champagne and spirit sponsors.

It’s sure to be an event you don’t want to miss—now the grand question is, what will your costume be?
